Yoga entered my life in a transformative way during a retreat in Costa Rica over 10 years ago. It was here that I discovered yoga as more than just physical postures—it became a practice of presence and mindfulness. As someone who has always found it challenging to slow down, yoga taught me the profound value of being truly present and embracing stillness.
Intentional breathing is at the heart of my practice and the central theme of all my classes. I guide students to connect with their breath and maintain a steady rhythm, whether we are building strength through dynamic poses, improving mobility with fluid flows, or surrendering in deep yin stretches. By weaving mobility into my flows, I aim to support both strength and flexibility, ensuring that every practice is balanced and restorative. Through mindful breathing, we can navigate both the intensity and the calm of the practice with greater awareness and ease.
