Yoga for Beginners - Series


New to yoga or looking for support as you explore your practice? Join Courtney for a 4 week dive into the basics of your yoga practice.

During this workshop we will learn:

Names, purpose, and proper alignments of common Asana (poses)

Pranayama (breath) techniques

Sun Salutations (a common series of poses)

How to incorporate props to support your body

Gain the confidence to join in any yoga class and begin the the journey of your practice! This workshop will be accessible to all experience levels. Expect 1 on 1 attention to support you through out.

Courtney has a light hearted approach to yoga but also encourages people to move beyond their comfort zones and experience all that they are capable of. Keeping the focus on a strong mind - body - breath connection her classes are a moving meditation. She offers modifications and alternative postures to ensure the class is empowering and accessible to all levels/bodies. Expect a focus on deepening your connection to self and each other as a community.
